Forward tipping dumper (wheeled) - PT068
Overview
This course is for anyone who is required to operate a forward tipping dumper on site and has never had any prior training it covers the operation and Health and Safety related to the machinery
Aim
Provide information, instruction and guidance on the safe use of the machinery
Objectives
- Have a basic understanding of the industry, the dangers of working in the industry and their responsibilities as a plant operator
- Have a working knowledge of the manufacturers handbook
- Be able to locate and identify the major components of the machine
- Carryout all pre-operational checks
- Identify defects and use appropriate reporting procedures
