Overview
This course covers updates for the supervision of Health and Safety on construction sites and provides some detail and guidance through reference documentation used to comply with statutory obligation within organisations
Aim
Provide information on changes to legislation and work practices to supervisors with the responsibility of supervising these functions under Health and Safety law and the potential impacts of any breaches
Objectives
- Discuss any updates and changes to work practices and legislation affecting the supervision of health and safety on site
- Develop an understanding of any impact and accountability for site health, safety and welfare
- Recognise that a safe site is efficient, economical, productive and environmentally friendly.

- Supervise a safer working environment within Lancashire County Council to the latest legislation

Entry Requirements
Delegates must have completed the 2 day SSSTS and will be required to produce a copy of their certificate for registration
Should be competent in English at site supervision level

On successful completion of the course end exam, certification is awarded by Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) as part of the Site Safety Plus suite of qualifications
