Who is this course for?
Social Workers and Mental Health Practitioners (non AMHPs) within the Adult Social Care who are required to prepare Social Circumstances reports and present to a Mental Health Tribunal.
Aims
To provide an understanding of the reporting requirement and recommend best practice report writing for mental Health Tribunals.
Objectives
At the end of the course participants will be able to:
- Describe the purpose of a Mental Health Tribunal and their role in it.
- Understand the purpose of a Social Circumstances report
- Outline how to write a high quality report.
- Describe how to present your report in a professional manner.
