Aims

This qualification requires candidates to look at and reflect upon real work activities. This includes personal and professional practice within the workplace. The award requires candidates to demonstrate competence as measured against nationally approved standards.

Objectives

At the end of the course participants will be able to:

• Promote effective communication for and about individuals.
• Promote, monitor and maintain health, safety and security in the working environment.
• Reflect on and develop their practice (personal and professional development).
• Promote the well-being and protection of children and young people.
• Demonstrate the application of equality issues as they relate to this learning activity.

Trainer

This qualification will be undertaken by an experienced vocational assessor who will guide you through the qualification and make a plan to gather evidence towards the diploma.
