This session is for foster carers, adopted parents (also Special Guardians and parents and carers of children looked after and under a child arrangement order) but if your child wishes to attend then please invite them to watch too.

Aims
To inform about the different options available when leaving school and how to access these.

Objectives
At the end of the course attendees will

• We will look at the options for your young person post 16 such as college, apprenticeships, university and preparing for employment.
• We will briefly explore the different types of courses available at college and university
• We will show you how to look for apprenticeships and what you need to enter the world of work in case they want to start looking at part time employment.
