How to book

Please click on the links below to view details of our training events and to book a place online.

These courses are open to Lancashire County Council's foster carers. If you are from an external agency please contact the Learning and Development Team on 01772 538474 prior to completing an application form.

If you are applying for yourself and your partner you will need to complete two applications.

Please double check you have provided a correct email address on the application form prior to submitting it. We will be unable to reserve a place on your chosen course date if the incorrect email address has been given and your application will unfortunately be rejected.

If you have been allocated a place on a course and can no longer attend, please contact us before the course takes place.

Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, but lunches are not provided. We recommend that you take your lunch with you as not all venues have the facilities.

We approve applications within 48 hours of you applying so you can expect to receive confirmation within this period. If the course venue is full we advise you to apply for an alternative date however places may become available if apologies are received.

Please check your junk/spam folders as some email providers may treat our confirmation emails as spam.

Before attending the training event, make sure you download our travel expenses claim form.
