High Needs Funding (HNF)
All non-independent schools are eligible to apply for High Needs Funding (HNF) when the additional educational needs of a pupil cannot be met and funded from PPG+ monies.
High Needs Funding (HNF) is for short-term support/interventions.
Children and young people from reception to year 11 are eligible for this funding.
An evaluation of the impact the funding has made to the pupil will be required.
HNF can be applied for each term and must include a clear financial breakdown of the amount being applied for alongside the reasons why.
Applications must be made to the Virtual School Head Teacher. The form can be found on the school portal or downloaded here:
