Children’s Services Support Hub and Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)
MASH is a social work triaging team structured on a locality footprint that screen Request for Support (RFS) that meet Level 4 on the CON.
Multi Agency Support Panel (MASP)
The MASP supports early intervention at levels no higher than level 2 of the Pan Lancashire Continuum of Need. Staff in Preston, Fleetwood, and Burnley can now make a referral to MASP. Professionals in education, health, and social care can refer children at risk of exploitation.

Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO)
The LADO service deals with allegations of abuse made against people who work with children.
Children’s Safeguarding Assurance Partnership (CSAP)
The CSAP (previously the Lancashire Safeguarding Children Board) has a range of roles and statutory functions including developing local safeguarding policy and procedures and scrutinising local arrangements.
