EAL / SEN

EAL? SEN and EAL? Steps to determine need

If you are concerned about EAL learners who are not making progress, this set of materials will help you to understand  whether it is the EAL or underlying SEN issues that are holding a pupil back.

There is no simple answer to this dilemma but we hope that this pack of materials on the CD will provide a clear framework that will help you to ensure that appropriate support is in place for EAL learners and to uncover any underlying problems that an EAL learner may be experiencing. This should help you plan appropriate approaches and interventions for your EAL learner.
