The Equality and Diversity Team offers guidance to schools and Early Years settings who wish to ensure that they are providing the high quality support necessary to ensure that Gypsy, Roma and Traveller learners achieve their full potential.

GRT Teaching Assistant Support

Examples of GRT TA support in your school could include:

  • Initial support for new arrivals
  • literacy and numeracy support for pupils substantial learning gaps

  • family liaison support
