To allow delegates to explore the development of disciplinary knowledge in the Working Scientifically sections of the national curriculum for science
To promote an understanding of the development of a sequence of learning throughout key stage three and four that allows students to make progress in Working Scientifically
To ensure that delegates are aware of the skills developed in the context of the required practical elements of GCSE science
