To provide senior leaders from secondary schools with updates and information sessions covering a wide range of current and high profile issues for schools. Key themes will be covered across the year. The updates will be provided by LA colleagues and senior leaders from schools and are likely to include the following areas:

- Safeguarding
- Careers
- Well-being
- Supporting specific groups of students including SEND and the disadvantaged

- Mathematics across the curriculum
- Key subject updates, including from science and the Languages Hub
- Post-16 updates

These briefings will also provide the opportunity for schools to network and share good practice. A range of inputs will be provided that reflect both national and local priorities, as highlighted above.
