Consider how to use wow activities, working walls and curiosity spaces to engage thinking and discussion. Studies show that learning takes place when children are able to associate new learning with prior knowledge and experiences. Science provides the perfect opportunity for children to explore, observe, notice and discuss interesting items or phenomena which provide a solid platform for children to unpick and reiterate their own thinking, leading to improved memory and embedded understanding.

This half day course will also provide an opportunity to observe how one school have effectively put this into practice to positively impact upon outcomes for children and inspire a love of science.

A great opportunity to take away ideas and strategies that you can implement in your school with relative ease to quickly see the gains and impact.
