- A termly update to enable Science Subject Leaders to be informed and updated on current issues in primary science.
- To support the Science Subject Leader with specific aspects of their role.
- To explore ways of continuing to improve the quality of teaching and learning in science.
- To provide engaging and interesting ideas to teach the science curriculum.

These meetings are intended to keep the subject leader updated with the latest information about Ofsted, national updates, publications and fresh ideas to take back to school to support teaching, learning and assessment. There will be opportunities within each session for teachers to share good practice and to raise issues that are pertinent to their school. Course participants will be provided with a download pack of resources which will include a PowerPoint presentation of the key messages which can be used for staff meeting updates and CPD back in school.

There will be meetings each term with a different focus at each one. Each session must be booked individually and it is advised subject leaders attend all sessions to ensure they are fully up to date with developments in their subject.

This year we are adding another exciting feature on one Network date. We have invited an expert, external speaker to share an exciting project or strategy. The AUTUMN Network Meeting will be held in the morning with an additional half day session in the afternoon on 'Teaching Science Through Drama' which will explore how drama can be used for assessment and retrieval practice in primary science. This afternoon session can be booked separately at a discounted price of £99 search SCI140. If you attend both sessions lunch will be provided.
