Explicitly teaching metacognitive strategies enables pupils to make additional progress. Reviewing learning is embedded in Rosenshine's Principles of Instruction and giving pupils opportunities to regularly review their learning is an important habit for teachers to develop and not just at the end of a lesson as the bell is going for break time!

This one hour course is filled with practical ways to review learning across the curriculum.
It will give delegates an opportunity to reflect on the structure of their lessons and support pupils to make connections in their learning.

This is a one hour twilight. Great Teaching Bitesize sessions allow busy teachers to focus on one or two key elements to help them reflect on, and enhance, their practice.
