This course will:
• consider generic principles for extending higher attaining learners whilst keeping planning and preparation manageable; and
• give a range of practical strategies for the above.

This is a one hour twilight. Great Teaching Bitesize sessions allow busy teachers to focus on one or two key elements to help them reflect on, and enhance, their practice.

This course recognises the challenges of meeting the needs of a wide range of learners in a mainstream classroom and focuses on how to effectively extend higher attaining learners. It will give a range of ideas which can be used across the curriculum.
