- To deliver inclusive, challenging, fun, engaging and high quality PE sessions for all children at your school.
- To support pupils with SEND to be physically active and to lead healthy, active lives.
- To encourage pupils to use their physical health and fitness, social, creative, cognitive, and personal abilities.
- To explore how to make PE inclusive and accessible for all through the Activity Inclusion Model (AIM) and STEP Tool help you to adapt activities, so all pupils can engage fully and progress in PE sessions.

This practical course is designed for PE subject leaders, SENDCOs and class teachers who want to develop their knowledge, skills and understanding of teaching PE at KS1 and KS2. It will develop a teacher’s subject knowledge and confidence by exploring how to teach the Fundamental movement skills in games, gymnastic and dance activities.

We will support you to plan and deliver inclusive PE sessions for all pupils, including children with specific impairments.

The day will develop planning, sequencing learning and assessing basic skills and how they can be developed so that children can apply these basic skills in a way that helps them learn.

The course will also explore differentiation and assessment through tasks in each activity area.

There is an element of practical activities so all delegates should be dressed appropriately.
