Course Aims
• To highlight the importance of accurate diagnostic assessment when developing an intervention programme.
• To consider different forms of intervention and how these can be used effectively.
• To identify the high value aspects of mathematics and how these support children in developing their mathematical understanding.
• To unpick the features of an effective intervention session for mathematics.

This half day course will support teachers in developing bespoke intervention programmes that work for their children to help them narrow the gap between their current position and year group expectations.
