Course Aims
These briefings have the following aims:
1) To update senior leaders on the changes to Ofsted inspections from September 2025
2) To provide an overview of the latest framework and consider the implications for headteachers
3) To provide answers to frequently asked questions
4) To provide guidance and a new format for self-evaluation in light of these changes
The School Improvement team are offering 'Headteacher Briefings' to outline the main changes to the Ofsted framework from September 2025, which will enable schools to prepare for inspection. Due to the fact that schools may be anticipating inspection early in the academic year, the timing of these briefings is such that headteachers should have as much information as possible at the very beginning of the academic year.
At the meeting advisers will share the main changes and implications, offer practical advice for managing the process as well as a revised format for school self-evaluation. Opportunities to ask questions and gain further advice will be available for delegates.
A maximum of 2 places is free for each SISG school. However, delegates will need to book the course individually.
