Explicit teaching of learning behaviours enables pupils to make great progress. Our pupils need to be supported to develop these behaviours in order to prepare them for the next stage in their lives.

This one hour course is filled with practical ways to develop resilience and independence in learning across the curriculum.

It will give delegates an opportunity to reflect on the structure of their lessons and support pupils to make connections in their learning.

“Learning behaviour” has much more to do with neuropsychology and how we can strengthen our relationship with our brain activity and abilities such as memory, attention and reasoning (Fuchs, 2009).

This is a one hour twilight. Great Teaching Bitesize sessions will allow busy teachers to focus on one or two key elements to help them reflect on, and enhance, their practice.

**OFFER: Book five courses from the 'Great Teaching Bitesize Suite' and pay for four. Please make five bookings as normal and we will discount one place. Courses available in this offer, search Bitesize PTL130 / 131 / 133 / 135 / 138 / 139 / 140 / 141 / 144 / 145 / 158 / 159 / 160 / 161 / 162
