This course is part of a series of courses using evidence-based research to develop, and embed, 'great' teaching and learning.

In this course we will:
Examine research on how children learn and the practical implications of this for teaching and learning
Share a range of practical strategies that can be used to help children remember more across the curriculum

"Memory is used in almost any everyday activity. But as soon as we learn something, we immediately start to forget it." Understanding how we learn - Yana Weinstein and Megan Suemracki

Discover different classroom based strategies that will support children remembering more.

Please note, this is the equivalent of a full day's course split over two sessions. Delegates will be expected to attend both sessions.

As this course is online, we would be grateful if you could attend on a device with a working camera and microphone.

"Excellent course, very informative and perfectly spaced to allow strategies to be tried and tested." A Lancashire Teacher.

"This course was absolutely brilliant, really helpful, practical and inspiring." A Lancashire Subject Lead.
