This practical and inspiring course is designed to support PE subject leaders and teachers in delivering inclusive, challenging, fun and high quality PE sessions for all children. The training explores how to adapt activities effectively so that every pupil—particularly those with SEND—can be physically active, make progress and lead healthy, active lives.
Delegates will examine how PE can nurture the whole child, encouraging development of physical health and fitness, as well as social, creative, cognitive and personal skills. The session will introduce two powerful tools for inclusion: the Activity Inclusion Model (AIM) and the STEP Framework, providing clear, practical strategies to ensure all pupils can engage meaningfully and successfully in PE.
By the end of the session, participants will feel confident in planning and delivering lessons that are inclusive, enabling, and ambitious for all learners..
