This course will cover:
• Ofsted judgements in relation to the EYFS in primary schools and maintained nurseries;
• Supporting senior leaders in monitoring and evaluating EYFS standards to inform school self evaluation;
• Supporting senior leaders in managing an Ofsted inspection from an EYFS perspective;
• Opportunities to discuss the inspection process with experienced leader/s who has /have gone through a successful inspection.
• An understanding of the EYFS Statutory Framework in relation to the inspection process.

This half day training provides an opportunity for headteachers and senior leaders to update their understanding of the updated inspection framework in relation to the EYFS. The relationship between the EYFS and key judgments will be explored in this half day session. Early years advisers, a practitioner and a lead inspector draw upon their experiences to assist senior leaders in preparing for inspection.
