This course will:
- Define what is meant by machine learning and generative artificial intelligence (AI).
- Provide teaching ideas, activities and curriculum resources to support primary-aged children.
- Discuss and demonstrate practical activities of how schools can adopt this technology to support wider-school activities.
- Highlight the key uses and issues of AI.
- Discuss the ethics and future of this technology.

Artificial intelligence can become a very important tool in schools, as it can allow them to personalise learning experiences, automate administrative tasks and save school staff time. This course will discuss the role of artificial intelligence in primary schools, including how it can be used, and the issues and challenges associated with this technology.
