This course will:
Discuss what sticky learning is and why it is important
Look at strategies to enhance learning and the retention of knowledge in geography
Look at the significance of thinking strategies and enquiry in geography
Discuss the importance of the sequence of learning and assessment for learning in geography.

With limited time to focus on our core knowledge and skills in geography, it is important to maximise the implementation of the curriculum by using effective learning activities and strategies. This course looks at how we can use different strategies to try to enhance the retention of knowledge in geography.
