The course will cover:
- The role of the subject leader in geography, including considerations such as auditing and monitoring the provision of this subject in your school.
- Discussion of sequence of learning, planning and assessment of geography.
- Creative approaches to the teaching of geography.
- The use of practical activities for all areas of geography including fieldwork.
- News and updates, including those from Ofsted, and on key resources and strategies.

This course is suitable for those new to subject leadership in geography or those who have been leading geography for a short time. The course covers the key curriculum and management aspects of being a geography subject leader.
