The Primary English and Literacy Team at Lancashire Professional Development Service (LPDS) have developed a systematic, synthetic phonics planning programme using the Letters and Sounds approach titled Red Rose Letters and Sounds.

This course is designed to support practitioners in delivering the Red Rose Letters and Sounds Programme for Phases 2, 3, 4 and 5. Practical support and key messages for session delivery will be provided when using weekly planning. The sequence of revisit/review, teach, practise and apply will be examined in detail with a focus on explicit teaching and application across a week.

This course is suitable for any teachers and teaching assistants who deliver Red Rose Letters and Sounds.
