Participants will:
- explore the importance of creating a behaviour plan for their classroom;
- explore how to create a calm, purposeful learning climate;
- investigate behaviour for learning objectives;
- understand how to teach and model positive behaviour for learning as part of the "behaviour curriculum"; and
-explore effective ways of responding to inappropriate behaviour.

This course enables delegates to explore what we mean by a Behaviour Curriculum at classroom level. We will look at the importance of creating a "behaviour plan" for the classroom, how to teach and model positive behaviour and key tools for establishing a calm, purposeful learning environment. Delegates will leave with a toolkit of resources to enable them to apply their learning in their own setting.

"I really enjoyed the reflection on my own practice and the chance to ask questions and collaborate" (Recent attendee at similar course).
