Join a library

You will need to provide the following information:

Name
Local library
Date of birth
Address
Telephone number and/or email address (so we can contact you about reservations and overdue items)

You can also join at any library branch during opening hours. Find a Lancashire library.

Anyone in the UK may join Lancashire's library service, however, our eBook downloads and access to subscription resources are limited to Lancashire residents.

If you are under 16 you can join the library by yourself, we will send your parent/carer a letter to tell them about the services you are entitled to.

Your library membership will automatically expire every three years for data protection purposes.
