Reservations

If an eBook or eAudiobook is out on loan you can reserve it.

As soon as the reserved item becomes available it will be borrowed automatically, will appear in your account and the loan period begins and you'll get an email notification.

Returns

You don't need to return eBooks and eAudiobooks, they will automatically expire and be removed from your account. If you have read your book before it expires you can return it early so you can borrow more and someone else can read it.

eReaders

You can read Library eBooks on most eReaders but not Amazon Kindle eReaders (e.g. Kindle Touch or Paperwhite) however, you can use the Amazon Fire (formerly Kindle Fire) device.

More than one person can use the same device but each person will need to download their loans again when they log back into their account. Each account will retail loans and reservations.

You can't download Library eBooks wirelessly to your eReader, you will need to download them to a computer first then transfer them to an eReader.

Need help?

If you are having trouble logging in, please take a look at the eReading help.

Overdue books, outstanding charges and expired accounts, may temporarily prevent you from logging in to your BorrowBox or Libby account.
