Lancashire Archives houses the Lancashire Printed Collection, a collection which aims to represent Lancashire life – people, places and events in fiction and non-fiction. Some Lancashire libraries also hold local studies collections.

We have a great selection of online resources which include Ancestry, Find My Past and the British Newspaper Archive. The 1921 census is also available through Find My Past. These are all free to use on site at Lancashire Archives and at all Lancashire libraries.
