Volunteers

The LERN partners are developing opportunities for volunteers to become actively involved in the work of the network.

Areas where there are opportunities for volunteer involvement in future, include: work experience for those who wish to develop a career in the environment and also field recording targeted at revisiting known locations of historic records of species of biodiversity significance in Lancashire.

One area where many hands can make a big difference is the electronic capture of historic wildlife records.
