Spring Wood Picnic Site (Ribble Valley)

The woodland at Spring Wood has Ancient Semi-Natural Woodland status, and the site once belonged to Whalley Abbey. There are various tracks and paths through the woods and several picnic areas. At the summit, views of Longridge and Waddington Fell can be seen. Spring Wood is at its best in May when the fabulous bluebells arrive.

A car park and toilets are available at this site.
