Beacon Fell Country Park

Beacon Fell Country Park is situated within the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The site is 75 hectares of woodland, grassland and moorland. Large areas of Beacon Fell have been declared as a Biological Heritage Site.

An isolated hill, Beacon Fell rises to 266 metres above sea level and has magnificent views of the Lancashire Plain to the south, and the south Bowland Fells to the north.

There is café open from Thursday - Sunday offering a small selection of snacks and hot and cold drinks on a kiosk style takeaway system.

Beacon Fell Adventures are based in the Visitors Centre and offer environmental education activities for children. 

A barbeque area is situated at Carwags Picnic Area. This is the only place on the park where barbeques are allowed.

There are toilets and picnic areas at this site.

There is a pay and display car park at Beacon Fell. The charge is £1 per day and payment is by card or phone.
