Occupational therapists

Our occupational therapists support people to lead lives defined by their own choices and aspirations.

We have exciting opportunities for both newly qualified and experienced occupational therapists across Lancashire and offer an excellent training and induction package.

With your help, we can change lives by delivering high quality, personalised interventions using your expertise in:

• Moving and handling
• Enablement techniques
• Specialist equipment
• Major adaptations
• Using assistive technology
• Training and development

If you join us in adult services, you will start your induction into Social Care via our Adult Social Care Academy. This bespoke training programme supports new recruits through their first year of employment and ensures their practice knowledge is up-to-date.

You will also receive regular supervision and support from a registered occupational therapist.

You'll get specific training on:

• strength based practice
• moving and handling
• proportionate care
• specialist equipment

Training is paid for by us.

Flexible working

We promote opportunities for flexible working and our occupational therapists  are based in the community, in offices and also have the opportunity to work from home where applicable.
