Sound of Heritage

What does heritage sound like?

Working in partnership with renowned music designer and composer Aziz Ibrahim as our 'Musician in Residence' and Global Sound Movement, we endeavour to record the reverberation and unique acoustics of Lancashire's museum spaces.

Aziz will also reflect on cultural spaces and their collections and draw parallels with the history of multicultural communities in Lancashire. The project will inspire contemporary soundtracks and digital content for sharing platforms, as well as a digital archive.
