Healthy adults programmes

The CHANGE programme lasts for 12 weeks and is for anyone over 18 who wants to:

  • Make changes to improve their health
  • Learn more about the food they eat
  • Have a healthy relationship with food
  • Manage their weight in a healthy and long-lasting way

The programme is delivered in small group sessions either face-to-face or online. One-to-one support sessions are also available.

In addition to nutrition sessions, we also offer low impact physical activity sessions including chair-based exercise classes, walks and racket sports throughout the week to encourage participants to increase their levels of physical activity.

Healthy families programmes

The Shake, Taste and Make programme is for families with children living in Fylde. It lasts for six weeks and takes place at primary schools and community venues.

The hour-long sessions aim to educate the whole family on health and nutrition and teach cooking skills. The sessions include a physical activity, and cooking for the whole family. After the session, families are given the cooked meal, more ingredients and the recipe so they can make it again at home
