Consent application form, checklist and guidance
Before you apply for consent, we advise you read the ordinary watercourse regulation page and the ordinary watercourse regulation guidance (PDF 552 KB) so you are clear about what the county council's policies and expectations are for proposed works to ordinary watercourses.
As a minimum, you must submit all required information specified in the ordinary watercourse consent application validation checklist (DOCX 190 KB) with your consent application.
If you fail to provide the minimum level of information we require for a valid application, then your application will be returned to you and consent for your works will be refused.
We reserve the right to request additional information from you depending on the type and location of works proposed. If this is the case, then we will contact you to tell you what additional information we need from you and why.
To apply for consent, please download and complete ordinary watercourse consent application validation checklist and pro-forma (DOCX 190 KB). This includes instructions on how to submit your application.
