Course content
- Know your statutory obligation to teach social development in your early years setting.
- To understand the sequential or progressive stages of social development learning in early years.
- To gain an overview of the developmental stages of play.
- To explore and build a repertoire of practical ideas to strengthen social development teaching in early years.
- To effectively audit pedagogy, linked to attunement and co-regulation, using the five different domains.
- To understand the importance of the practitioner's role in establishing a strong keyperson system, that will support the child’s need for attachment and attunement.
