Course content
All children deserve to have high quality education and an equal chance of success. This high-quality education is essential in supporting our disadvantaged children to make good progress. How can we ensure those disadvantaged children, within the early years, reach their full potential and do not fall behind their peers?
This course will look at the term disadvantage, what this may look like within early years education and how settings can use their early years pupil premium funding to support the narrowing of gaps. We will consider how we can implement plans across the year and how these plans can be monitored to ensure we are narrowing the gap. During the session we will also explore how to provide support for those children who fall within the disadvantage and are entitled to EYPP but who do not appear to have any gaps in their learning and development. During the session we will explore tools which will support with how and where to allocate EYPP funding to ensure maximum impact.
Come and find out how you can ensure you support some of our most vulnerable learners in Lancashire.
