Course content
Working in the Early Years sector is exciting, fast paced and ever changing. This requires managers and leaders to think on their feet, be able to adapt and wear many different hats. Do you have the attributes of a manager and leader and want to learn more?
This full day course will help you to understand and develop your leadership and management role. We will explore the job description for a manager and ensure you have a vision that reflects current legislation and the uniqueness of your setting. There will be a focus on understanding teams and how to build an effective one using tools such as feedback, supervision and motivation. Exploring how we can help practitioners to perform effectively ensuring there is a continual emphasis on improvement and excellence. How to lead and support change will be discussed, along with organisation and delegation.
This is also an opportunity to network with other managers and share challenges and solutions.
