New manager's academy
Are you new in the role of the manager of an early years setting? Perhaps you have only been the manager for the last 6 months or so. Let us know and we can offer you some additional support whilst you fully find your feet.
One of the Early Years Project Officer's will meet with you to discuss your current challenges and offer advice and guidance including sign posting for additional support and information. You will also be invited to termly, virtual group meetings to network with other new managers for peer support.
There is no charge for joining the academy and we look forward to meeting and supporting you in your new role.
What next: just complete this short Microsoft Teams form and the Project Officer for your area will be in contact with you.
New practitioner's academy
Are you new to working with early years children? Are you training or have you been employed in your new job for less than a year?
Join our new practitioner's academy by attending any (or all) the meetings below from 4 to 5pm. There is no need to book, just email EarlyYearsCentre@lancashire.gov.uk and request the links. These are free for you to attend and will help you in your new or future role.
We will chat to you about all sorts of elements of practice in early years settings as well as giving you the opportunity to ask any questions. We are really looking forward to meeting you and to welcoming you to the best profession in the world… and the most important one.
