A6070 Carnforth proposed road closures

There will be traffic restrictions in place to provide working space and to protect the workforce as follows.

February 2025

Full and partial overnight closures of the A6070 between 8pm and 6am.

Monday 17 February and Tuesday 18 February. Closed for westbound traffic heading towards Carnforth from the M6. Eastbound traffic will be unaffected.

Wednesday 19 February and Thursday 20 February. Fully closed in both directions.

Friday 21 February and Saturday 22 February. Closed for eastbound traffic heading towards the M6 from Carnforth. Westbound traffic will be unaffected.

Diversions will be signed.

These planned closures may be subject to change at short notice in case the work is disrupted due to bad weather. Any change to the dates will be publicised as soon as possible on this website and with signs near the bridge.
