Validation of planning applications

Prior to validation of planning applications, local authorities may require relevant information and survey data to address likely impacts on biodiversity. Information on local planning authority validation requirements should be sought from the authority dealing with the application. 

Additional information over and above minimum requirements for validation may be required to inform determination of a planning application.
