Background
The Governing Body of Moor Park High School and Sixth Form have made the decision to undertake a statutory consultation process to discontinue their sixth form provision due to concerns about its financial and educational viability. The sixth from at the school has very low student numbers and a narrow curriculum offer in its sixth form, both of which are impacting on the financial viability of the school.
In accordance with the statutory process, a statutory public notice and the complete proposal have been published by the school. The formal representation period will take place from 13 March 2025 to 2 May 2025, during which time interested parties are able to submit written comments on the proposal.
