Temporary expansion of Newton Bluecoat Primary School

Members of Lancashire County Council's cabinet agreed on 2 February 2023 the proposed temporary expansion of Newton Bluecoat Primary School, by exceeding its Published Admission Number by 30 places in 2023/24 only, to be provided through the development of existing accommodation.

The council is responsible for making sure there are enough high-quality school places available to meet demand across the county, and the expansion of Newton Bluecoat Primary School will help us to do this.
