How to enter

The Lancashire Choir of the Year competition has now closed for 2024. Thanks to everyone who has entered the 2024 competition to find the best community choirs in Lancashire! We are loving watching all your fantastic video entries and our judging panel will be shortlisting all entries to the final six.

These six finalists will go forward to a People's Choice vote in mid-October and will perform at a celebration concert at the Great Hall at Lancaster University on Thursday 28 November. The concert will be compered by vocalist, Tim Uffindell. Choirs selected to perform in the celebration concert will perform two contrasting songs and we can't wait to hear them! Look out for announcements on our social media pages when voting opens for the People's Choice.

The overall winning choir will be offered a professional recording session, and the runners up and People's Choice choirs will be offered a professional vocal workshop. See our prizes page for further details.
