Children starting primary school (reception) and secondary (year 7) in September 2024

You can ask for your child's name to go on a waiting list, as well as request an appeal, for any school.

If a place becomes available and your child has greatest priority, you will be offered a place at the school.

We do not hold waiting lists for community and voluntary controlled schools for in-year admissions.

Some voluntary aided and foundation schools, academies and free schools may hold a waiting list for in-year admissions, you will need to check with the individual school.
