Serving personnel and service leavers

The Joint Service Housing Advice Office (JSHAO) provide civilian housing options and information for service personnel and the families. They provide information on Service Families Accommodation (SFA), provide housing briefings for service personnel and publish a regular magazine with housing advice and information called Housing Matters. They have links to housing support schemes such as, the MoD Referral Scheme for families in housing difficulty, the SPACES scheme for single service-leavers and the Services Cotswold Centre for temporary transit accommodation. More information on all of these housing support schemes along with e-copies of the Housing Matters magazine on Gov.UK. 

Serving personnel with housing issues should contact their unit welfare office – the local Hive information office can provide the UWO contact details.
