Southport inquiry

An inquiry into the Southport stabbings has been announced by Government and this will involve looking at some of our approaches, recommendations and support.
The families of the three young girls who were murdered, and all the other victims of this terrible crime are uppermost in our thoughts.
You can read more about the evidence collected during the investigations, including information and a statement from our Lancashire Child Safeguarding Partnership here.
Some of you may be asked to assist with the inquiry and will receive support in doing so.

On Wednesday 29 January we will open a short staff check-in survey.
This is part of our response to the 2024 staff survey results and our commitment to listening to you.
This anonymous survey will have a few simple questions and will take no longer than two minutes to complete.
You will be able to access the survey through Staff News, Team Lancashire on Facebook and the Staff Survey website.
Please share this with your teams and encourage them to take part. We would like to hear from as many people as possible.
The survey closes on Tuesday 4 February.
